Hope Programme for Hip and Knee Pain (South West)

Are you living with hip and knee pain?
You may also be waiting for a hip or knee replacement.

Do you want to build your skills and knowledge to manage your health and pain while waiting for assessment, treatment or surgery?

Free ONLINE Hope Programme for preparing well for hip and knee pain assessment or treatment

Hope aims to teach you how to become more relaxed, improve your confidence in setting positive goals, learn pain, stress and fatigue management skills and explore any worries you experience.

Course duration: 8 sessions. It takes about 2 hours to complete each session, which you can complete at any time which is convenient to you.

What you need: You can do the course on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. The course is not delivered in a way for people to be on “at the same time”. Like a website you go through the materials each week, but you can do this at your own pace and time that suits. Some people do chunks of 20mins some people do more or less whenever they can find the time.

You have a choice to join the group facilitated option, this is good if you like to learn with and meet other people. Or if you prefer to learn on your own, without others, you can join the self guided option, the choice is yours!

Goal setting is great and well structured, I love that the emphasis is on the goal setter to overcome barriers and own the outcome. The gratitude wall is great and became a bit of a social hub.
