Volunteer Cornwall is the certified provider of the Hope Programme in Cornwall.

The Hope Programme is a free six-week self-management course designed for adults (18+) who are ready to explore new ways of looking after their health and wellbeing.

This Hope Programme® course brings together adults who identify as neurodivergent, or who are exploring whether they may be neurodivergent. It offers a supportive, respectful space to share experiences, focus on strengths and needs, and learn practical tools for health and wellbeing.

Led by trained facilitators from Recovery College Cornwall, each session blends proven techniques with supportive peer discussion, helping participants discover what matters to them and learn new tools for managing their health and wellbeing that last well beyond the course.

The programme will help you to:

  • Feel more able to support and share your experiences with others to help you feel less isolated.

  • Feel reassured and able to recognise your own potential and enhance your happiness and quality of life.

  • Feel more confident in dealing with emotional issues such as: anxiety, anger, depression and uncertainty.

  • Increase your ability to handle stressful situations.

  • Discover how to use relaxation techniques to refresh your mind and body.

  • Learn how to make plans and achieve goals that can help you make changes for the better.

  • Use the skills from the course to improve and self-manage your life.

If you’re ready to take the next step towards improving your wellbeing and moving forwards with greater confidence, we’d love to have you join us.
