HOPE PROGRAMME FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

HOPE PROGRAMME FACILITATOR

Stitch meditations start with scraps of fabric and needle and thread but absolutely no plan. There is no wrong or right and it involves just putting the needle in and seeing where it leads you. I did a larger version to express what Hope means to me.

Over the years being involved with Hope has given me many opportunities and much satisfaction so I decided to add the bold felt word HOPE as it’s important to me.

At the end I decided to add a few words that sum up some of the good things about the course:

  • Grateful - because it’s one of my favourite parts of the course and an activity that truly rewired my brain and raised my spirits, as well as those of many participants.

  • Inspired - a word that many participants say the course has made them feel.

  • Proud - I am very proud to have been involved with the Programme for many years and that my doing so has made a difference to many people, something which was important to me to do with my life.
