HOPE QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD

Bethan leads on training, assessments of our online facilitators and manages quality assurance for the Hope Programme.

Bethan has been living with and self managing arthritis since her 20s. In 2018 she was also diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS): “I woke up one day but my legs were still asleep.” Following a bad relapse that further affected her mobility, Bethan was finding it difficult to leave the house and to work.

In March 2020, Bethan completed our online Hope Programme. She has since trained as a Hope Facilitator and become a valued member of our core team.

“I didn’t think I’d work again. My life was dominated by my MS - I even had a symptom diary and everything. Hope helped me take better care of me, but also to work again. I try to support participants to get the best possible experience out of the course. People go on a journey – and like me, come out of it stronger and feeling more in control. With Hope, anything is possible.”
