Hope 4 The Community CIC up for national award
We are delighted to be shortlisted in the Social Enterprise Technology Innovation of the Year at the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2026.
Produced by Social Enterprise UK and Co-operatives UK, the Awards celebrate the leading lights in our sector, showcasing diversity and impact across 15 categories.
Social enterprises, like ours, are businesses that trade for a social or environmental purpose, and reinvest at least half their profits to further that mission. There are more than 100,000 social enterprises in the UK, employing 2.3 million people, and we’re delighted to be recognised as one of the best in this pioneering business movement.
We, Hope 4 The Community CIC (H4C) are a Coventry-based, social enterprise and digital health provider. We develop and deliver the Hope Programme, an evidence-based, peer-supported self-management intervention for people living with long-term conditions and unpaid carers. Delivered online and in person, Hope helps people build the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their health and wellbeing. We also offer our flexible white-label platform, powered by H4C, to support other organisations to rapidly develop digital interventions. Our programmes and platform are commissioned across the NHS, voluntary, public and private sectors in the UK and internationally.
Commenting on being a UK Social Enterprise Awards finalist, Prof Andy Turner, co-founder of Hope 4 The Community CIC (H4C) said: “This is the third time H4C has been shortlisted for a UK Social Enterprise Award, following our Tech for Good win in 2024. It shows what can be achieved when you combine lived experience, research, technology and genuine partnerships. Together, we have created scalable evidence-based support that remains focussed on what matters to people.”

We hope to join other finalists and VIP guests at a prestigious awards ceremony at the New Century Hall in Manchester on 12th November, when the winners will be revealed.
